BOSTON — Powerhouse Dynamics, creator of the SiteSage™ energy and asset management system for multi-site operators of small commercial facilities, has announced the availability of a new series of extensions that add to the system’s ability to improve operational efficiencies. SiteSage provides centralized control of HVAC and other key equipment. The first two extensions in this series enable centralized utility bill management, and the capture and tracking of equipment asset information.

SiteSage is used by restaurants, convenience stores, specialty retailers, and other facilities. According to Martin Flusberg, Powerhouse Dynamics’ CEO, “SiteSage has always differed from traditional energy management systems (EMS) because of the way it combines controls with extensive equipment-level analytics and diagnostics, addressing a broad set of operational issues across the enterprise. Our new extensions, SiteSage Bills and SiteSage Assets, expand this differentiation even further.”

SiteSage Bills electronically captures and integrates electric, gas, and water bills with the detailed consumption data collected by SiteSage; analyzes them to identify billing issues and errors; and enables enterprise-level benchmarking. SiteSage Assets supports the capture of detailed equipment properties and conditions, and provides a way to track assets and score them based on a blend of property, condition, energy usage, and maintenance data to inform both maintenance and replacement strategies.

“Benchmarking utility bill information is not by itself a new concept,” said Flusberg. “What is new is the ability to integrate that with the granular data captured by SiteSage in order to enhance bill analytics, accurately allocate bills to financial periods, and enable drill-down to the equipment level to analyze bill disparities. Similarly, SiteSage Assets provides an unparalleled level of asset data integration along with a unique scoring tool to help companies optimize asset strategies.”
