The EarthDirEX™ geothermal heat pump system is available in 2-, 3-, 4-, and 5-ton capacities and includes an electronic expansion valve for precise refrigerant control. Greater corrosion resistance is supplied by two all-aluminum Anteater MC® microchannel coils. The product contains only two moving parts — a compressor and a fan — making breakdowns less likely. The unit comes with a five-year out-of-the-box parts warranty. However, with equipment registration, this system includes a 10-year parts warranty and a 10-year replacement guarantee for the compressor.
