With a 200-person staff, Valley Industries employs and empowers adults with developmental disabilities through specialized project needs. Valley Industries will fulfill Jerry Kelly’s needs for packaging promotional items.
The decision to partner with the 45-year-old Valley is part of Jerry Kelly’s long history of supporting its community. With a track record of sponsoring local charities, the contractor saw an opportunity with Valley to support a local business that contributes to the community.
“We are proud to work with a company that creates job opportunities for those with developmental disabilities,” said Jerry Kelly, owner. “Valley creates an atmosphere where people who have little options for employment can successfully contribute to a local business. It’s one thing to contribute to a benefit or cause, but it’s a real special feeling to be part of something that helps hundreds of people on a daily basis.”
Valley Industries’ mission is to provide dignified and meaningful employment for people with developmental disabilities, while providing outstanding quality and services to its customers. Services include kit building, packaging, shrink-wrapping, blister packaging, FDA-certified pharmaceutical projects, collating, assembly, recycling, and mailing services.
“If your company requires the types of task they perform, every business should consider Valley,” says Kelly. “They perform well at a competitive price.”
In June 2011, Valley earned its three-year ISO 9001:2008 certification, which ensures its quality management system and processes are controlled and will continuously improve. Valley relies on community support to continue its mission of providing dignified, meaningful employment for people with developmental disabilities.
