The United States Air Force (USAF) 366 Training Squadron, an HVAC Excellence-accredited program, received the HVAC Excellence Leadership Award for its leadership role in creating parity between the civilian and military training institutions. Officer Richard Schwarte (left) accepted the award on behalf of the USAF from Coy Gibson, director of technical education and standard, HVAC Excellence. The USAF wanted to ensure that the technical skills of its personnel could be articulated, transferred, and recognized in the civilian world.
