MILWAUKEE — Lucas-Milhaupt Inc., a Handy & Harman PMFG member company, has recently introduced its www.handy-one.com Web site featuring Handy One, a flux-cored brazing wire that can improve joint strength and initial quality while reducing manufacturing costs, says the company. The Web site features a video of Handy One in action, along with product information and material safety data sheets.
The concept of flux-cored material involves the use of a brazing alloy in strip form that is subsequently formed into a U-shaped channel. This channel is filled with an appropriate powdered flux, and then closed to seal in the flux and form a finished wire.
