Westcoast Energy Inc. (Vancouver, BC, Canada) reports that earnings per common share were $0.20 for the third quarter, compared to $(0.08) for the same period of 1999, after adjusting for the sale of Centra Gas Manitoba in 99. For the first nine months of 2000 earnings per common share were $1.83, compared with $1.57 for last year.
