The Best Contractors to Work For

The News is proud to announce the winners in its second annual “Best Contractor to Work For” contest.

It should be no surprise that the 2000 winners display a strong commitment to their employees through involvement in decision-making processes, training programs, outstanding wage and benefit packages, family-oriented activities, and safety issues.

The 2000 Select Seven are:

  • Advanced Radiant Technology, Seattle, WA;
  • Aircond, Smyrna, GA;
  • Atomatic Mechanical Services, Inc., Hoffman Estates, IL;
  • DiFilippo’s Service Company, Paoli, PA;
  • Northside Heating & Cooling, Benton, AR;
  • Keil Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc., Riverdale, NJ; and
  • Tri-City Mechanical/Comfort Systems USA, Chandler, AZ
  • Each winner will be recognized at the closing general session of the 2001 Air Conditioning Contractors of America’s 33rd annual conference, being held this week in Las Vegas, NV. These contractors will each receive a plaque, honoring them for their respective achievements.
