The AYF is a high-efficiency, gas chiller-heater for applications that require both heating and cooling. The cooling section includes a GAX chiller with 30% greater efficiency over previous models, low NOX emissions, minimal maintenance, and longer life than conventional electric units, the manufacturer says. The heating section has an AFUE of 82%, incorporates a low-NOX burner releasing less than 20 ppm, and has solid-state controls, says the company. The unit is completely self-contained.
