The Lifebreath Electric Clean Air furnace combines an electric furnace with a built-in heat recovery ventilator. The built-in aluminum heat recovery core is designed to introduce fresh air into a building while exhausting an equal amount of stale air. It will transfer heat from the stale exhausting air to the fresh incoming air. The furnace comes standard with an ECM motor. Five different models are available with inputs of 5, 9, 15, 18, and 22kW (17,000, 30,000, 51,000, 60,000, and 75,000 Btuh, respectively) and range between 2 and 5 tons of add-on air conditioning. All units have two-stage cooling capabilities, while every model except the 5kW unit have two-stage heating, making all models heat pump compatible. A Lifebreath TFP Air-Cleaner is optional.
