The IAQ market in the U.S. totaled $7.8 billion in 2015, is forecast to reach $8.3 billion in 2016, and grow to $10.8 billion by 2021, increasing at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 5.3 percent from 2016 to 2021, according to a report from BCC Research.

The United States IAQ market is forecast to grow to $11.4 billion by 2019, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 7 percent over the next five years, according to new report from BCC Research. The equipment segment is expected to grow at a CAGR of 7.4 percent.
Energy recovery ventilators (ERVs), which use the exhaust air from a building to precondition incoming air, offer many advantages for both improving IAQ and reducing energy consumption, and are one of the fastest-growing segments for improved IAQ management in buildings, says Navigant Research.
