Ashcroft® direct drive gauges offer the appearance and accuracy of standard commercial gauges while providing the durability and economy of direct drive technology, the company says. Testing has shown these gauges to be four times more shock resistant than conventional fixed-movement units, says the manufacturer. The gauges have no gears to jam or wear out. They are available in 40 mm (11¼2 in.) and 50 mm (2 in.), back connect only, with Cycoloy (ABS/polycarbonate blend) case and integral socket.
