Business Training Available For Commercial Contractors

MISSISSAUGA, Ontario - The Heating, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning Institute of Canada (HRAC) is offering commercial contractors an advanced commercial service sales workshop that is an extension of the service agreement sales training fundamentals program that was presented last spring by Jim Graening of FreshAir Consultants.

This comprehensive two-day workshop is designed specifically for the HVACR contractor performing commercial/mechanical, light commercial, and multi-residential service work. The instruction includes sales skills, survey and estimating strategies, role-playing, and group discussions as attendees learn to initiate, negotiate, and close more preventative maintenance and service project work by offering financial justification.

Owners, managers, project sales personnel, service managers, and technicians in the organization will all benefit from this training program, says the association.

Registration forms are available online at www.hrai.ca under the "What's New" section or call Glenda Mulligan at 800-267-2231, ext. 233, or e-mail gmulligan@hrai.ca. The workshop will be in Ottawa on May 10-11 and in Toronto May 12-13.
