The Fire Barrier Duct Wrap 615+ is a fire-resistant wrap that is lighter and thinner than previous offerings by the company. It meets the new ASTM E 2336 grease duct fire test requirements and is tested to the ISO 6944 air duct standard. Made from an advanced ceramic fiber wrapped in scrim-enforced foil, the duct wrap is a lightweight, thin-profile insulation product that provides up to two hours of fire protection for grease and air ventilation ducts. It is a monolithic blanket; it’s foil encapsulated for blanket protection, which means less dust and high-wrap strength. The duct wrap supports maximum temperatures of up to 2,192°F (1,200°C). It weighs 6 pounds per cubic foot.
