Robur’s absorption process combines the advantages of a condensing boiler and an electric heat pump into one unit. The air-to-water reversible heat pump supplies hot water up to 140°F or chilled water down to 38°F. The gas efficiency at rated conditions is 126 percent in heating mode. Gas savings during the heating season can often offset the gas consumption normally required during the cooling season in heating-dominant climates.
