The Comfortmaker® Observer™ touch screen communicating wall control, compatible with all Comfortmaker communicating equipment, is designed for easier service and installation. The wall control features a full-color touch screen display in a compact design. The control is user-friendly and easy to navigate with options for four events per day for seven days and is fully programmable with auto mode and a manual operation option. It is dual-fuel compatible and features multiple hold options, constant-speed fan capability, and enhanced humidity control. According to the manufacturer, installation is simple with just four color-coded wires that run from the communicating outdoor unit to the communicating indoor unit and on to the Observer communicating wall control (TSTAT0101SC). When the Observer communicating wall control is installed with compatible communicating equipment, it will automatically find the attached equipment, display its information on the screen, prompt the installer to choose whether a humidifier is present, and configure the system for optimal performance. With an accessory daughter board (sold separately), the communicating wall control can also be used with any Comfortmaker noncommunicating equipment (with limited functionality). Dealers also can load contact information to display for the homeowner during a fault or as a maintenance reminder.
