Nov. 28, 2011: FieldPower, Knowella Technologies Partner to Offer Tablet/Software Field Service Solutions

EDISON, N.J. — FieldPower and Knowella Technologies announced that they have entered into a strategic partnership. Under the terms, FieldPower’s workforce management software will now be available on a range of lightweight, rugged tablet devices offered by Knowella Technologies.

FieldPower is a workforce automation software solution for a wide range of service companies, helping them to better manage their field workforce. Knowella Technologies provides state-of-the-art tablet PCs for mobile professionals in sectors including field service automation.

According to the companies, the partnership provides an opportunity to offer multiple solutions on one hardware platform. It will help reduce overall customer costs and provide a complete hardware/software system.

Ganesh Ramakrishnan, vice president, business development for FieldPower, said, “The use of the newest slate and tablet devices for mobile workers are gaining momentum in the field force automation space and FieldPower is proud to offer our application on these important platforms from Knowella Technologies.”
