NORMAN, Okla. - Johnson Controls launched 2009 summer promotions for its York®, Coleman®, and Luxaire® brands. The promotional period began June 16 and runs through Aug. 31, 2009.

Customers who purchase qualifying equipment during the promotional period can receive up to a $1,700 cash-back rebate or free, 10-year extended warranties on parts and labor (unless prohibited by law in some states). Consumers should contact their registered, participating York, Coleman, or Luxaire dealers for more information about the offer.

Rebates start at $500 for premium package systems, which include a 15 SEER package unit, one IAQ item, and a qualifying programmable thermostat. The rebates go up to $1,700 on enhanced premium air conditioning and heat pump systems, which include an 18 SEER, R-410A air conditioner or heat pump with a matching variable-speed furnace or air handler, two IAQ products, and a qualifying programmable thermostat.

“During these challenging economic times, we are happy to offer home- owners significant savings on energy-efficient heat pumps and air conditioning systems in our York Affinity™, Coleman Echelon™, and Luxaire Acclimate™ Series,” said Jeff Hurt, York brand manager for the Unitary Products Division of Johnson Controls.

“Many of these products also qualify for federal tax credits available through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009,” he added. “And, depending on where homeowners live, their state or local governments may provide additional incentives.”
