PF-1091 is a water, heat, and cold-temperature resistant, flame-retardant adhesive for fiberglass insulation attachment to metal, the company says. The moisture-curing adhesive applies at low temperatures (175°F) and is considered a warm melt adhesive. Because the adhesive forms chemical crosslinks when exposed to ambient moisture, its water, heat, and high-velocity air resistant properties are actually enhanced with further moisture exposure, making it a good candidate for air conditioner insulation attachment, says the manufacturer.
