Watsco, Inc. (Miami, FL) reports that it has agreed to acquire S.W. Anderson Sales Corp. (Farmingdale, NY), a $40 million distributor of heating, air conditioning, and insulation products, which operates from five locations serving over 2,000 contractors throughout the New York and New Jersey metropolitan areas.
Amana Heating and Air Conditioning (Fayetteville, TN) recently announced its top distributor awards at its National Distributor Conference in Scottsdale, AZ. Webb Distributors (Phoenix, AZ) was awarded Distributor of the Year 2000. Also winning awards for Outstanding Sales were William Distributing (Grand Rapids, MI) and Yandle Witherspoon (Charlotte, NC). Heating and Cooling Supply (Waterloo, IA) captured the #1 Market Share Position Award, ABCO Refrigeration Supply (New York, NY) received the Largest Sales Dollar Increase Award, and GBG Supply (Pittsburgh, PA) landed the New Distributor of the Year Award. Amana Regional Sales Manager of the Year went to Rusty Cook.
