Victaulic Co. of America: PRESSFIT TOOL

A pneumatic pressing tool is offered for use with the company’s pressfit system for joining IPS Schedule 5 steel and types 304 and 316 stainless steel pipe without welding, threading, or flanges, says the company. Designed for industrial and trade use, the PFT507 pressfit tool is powered by compressed air (75 to 90 psi/520 to 620 kPa) and hydraulically driven. It is supplied with a steel carrying case with product assembly and tool operation manual. Pressing jaws in 1¼2- to 2-in. sizes (21.3 to 60.3 mm) can be leased or purchased separately.
