Tire Recycler Expands Dallas Site

The Nathaniel Energy Corporation (NECX) announced that it launched PHASE 1 of a four-part expansion campaign at its Hutchins, Texas site. According to NECX the process, involving a Trommel Screen and automated feeding system, will “result in wire-free, clean tire derived fuel (TDF).”

Over the past 1-1/2 years, NECX has worked with tire recyclers in the Houston/Dallas/Fort Worth area to dispose of its tires at the Hutchins disposal site. The junk tires, as many as 10,000 per day, are shredded and processed using patented methods and sold as low cost fuel to local municipalities and commercial customers.

“The Texas Natural Resource Conservation Commission has found the site to be in compliance with Commission rules, we have completed PHASE 1 and are in the early stages of increased operations capacity,’ said Stan Abrams, ceo of NECX. “The 27-acre site has all the necessary shredders, buildings, and loading equipment to ramp up shredding operations and revenues 400 percent.”

NECX is a Colorado-based company that has been working on ways to resolve the complex problem of tire recycling, re-use, and the subsequent creation of low-cost fossil fuel suitable for creating energy for heating and electricity.
