Thybar Corp.: ROOFTOP UNIT CURB
The Retro-Mate® curb is installed on top of the existing curb, to adapt it to the new hvac equipment after the old equipment has been removed. Hvac units that are larger than the one being replaced can be accommodated, the company says. The Retro-Curb is prefabricated from heavy-gauge galvanized or Galvalume® steel with transitions, baffles, structural supports, and 11¼2-in., 3-lb insulation.
