New, handheld, waterproof thermometer is designed for rough duty in wet and messy applications such as food service, processing plants, laboratories, and environmental testing. The heavy-duty meter housing is sealed with gaskets and o-rings to meet IP-65 standards. The handheld probe features a type-K thermocouple sensor for fast response times and a wide temperature range, says the company. The Fahrenheit model measures from -58° to 572°F while the Celsius model covers -50° to 300°C.
