The Tracer Summit Web Server provides Web access to the Tracer Summit building automation system. It provides access to common operator functions, with no additional software needed. BACnet compliance lets users manage other systems from a common browser. Web Server can also use PDAs and cell phone communication. The Web Server makes it practicable to allow BAS access to an infrequent user, such as a tenant or a school principal, states the manufacturer. According to the company, there is no software for the IT staff to install and maintain and minimal additional network traffic.
