The new ESP-V Series vertical cooling/heat pump unit provides a central heating and cooling system for applications where gas or oil are not readily available, the manufacturer says. The vertical, space-saving design makes it suitable for homes and condominiums built on a slab with no basement or attic, says the company. Available in capacities from 2 to 5 tons, the unit features a larger coil for higher efficiency (12-plus SEER), an aluminum drain pan to resist corrosion, and a compact internal control box, the company says.
