The 28HE Series boiler features forced-draft firing. This commercial steam boiler offers thermal and combustion efficiencies of up to 86 percent for oil and 83 percent for gas. It is available in various sizes with gross output ratings from 931 to 4,622 MBtuh and can be used in either water or steam systems with light oil, gas, or gas/light oil. The boiler incorporates the design of the 28A Series boilers with revised flue gas travel from increased baffle surface area. Features include heat transfer rods, 3-inch thick insulated metal jacket, baffled cleanout covers, precision-machined cast iron sections, and graphite port connectors.
