Service Roundtable Announces Award Details

DALLAS - The Service Roundtable (www.serviceroundtable.com) has announced three new awards programs:

The Service Roundtable Servant Leader Award
According to the organization, the Servant Leader Award recognizes individuals who have provided a lifetime of industry service. Awarded rarely, the Servant Leader Award is the Service Roundtable's highest recognition. Recipients do not need to be affiliated with the Service Roundtable. The award presented to recipients reads:

"The truest, most noble form of leadership is that of ‘servant leadership.' The Servant Leader leads by example, not command. The Servant Leader is compelled to help others, to serve. The Servant Leader Award recognizes individuals who have selflessly devoted a lifetime to serving others in their field. They are servants first, who have become notable leaders through their service to their fellows, enriching us all."

Nominations for the Servant Leader Award are accepted throughout the year by e-mail to matt.michel@serviceroundtable.com.

Knights of the Service Roundtable
Knights of the Service Roundtable are members of the Service Roundtable who have "demonstrated chivalry, performed acts of bravery, and committed feats of valor for their fellow Service Roundtable members." After the initial knighthoods are bestowed, members will be inducted as Knights of the Service Roundtable no more than once a quarter. Knights of the Service Roundtable will be enshrined in a place of honor on the Web site and allowed to carry the title "Knight of the Service Roundtable."

Nominations for installation as a Knight of the Service Roundtable Award are accepted throughout the year by e-mail to matt.michel@serviceroundtable.com.

The Service Roundtable Crusader Award
Service Roundtable Crusaders refer others to membership in the Service Roundtable. Starting January 1, 2004, members will receive a Service Roundtable Crusader polo after three new members mention the referring member during the sign-up process. When 10 new members mention a referring member, a Service Roundtable Crusader jacket will be awarded.
