Sentry Alarm Systems: Air Conditioning Alarm System

The air conditioner alarm system helps protect air conditioning units. A low-pressure control is attached to the refrigerant line. It is then connected to a wireless transmitter that sends a silent signal to an automatic telephone dialer. The dialer dials four preselected numbers and plays a recorded message alerting owners to a potential theft. The system operates in silence, so it does not tip off the would-be thief. It has a battery backup feature that provides protection even in the event of a power loss. The alarm protects an air conditioner 24/7, operating with a 9-V and two AA batteries.
