Sanyo Fisher Hosts Distributors

ORLANDO, Fla. - Sanyo Fisher, HVAC Division, recently hosted distributors at its 2005 National Distributors' Meeting. Distributors were introduced to approximately 50 new products that are expected to be launched beginning Jan. 2006, as well as participating in company-sponsored golf, fishing, and tennis tournaments at the Innisbrook Golf Resort. The theme of the conference was "Sanyo For Tomorrow."

Tom Crock, national sales manager of Sanyo HVAC (pictured right) introduced and described the features of the new products with particular emphasis on new inverter technology. Two of the units were powered up for the demonstration. Company president, Takashi Hirao, addressed the meeting, thanking the distributors for their support.

"This is possibly the biggest step forward with an entire product line in the 22 years Sanyo has sold HVAC units in this country," said Crock.

The current line and the new line of products will be ready for the Jan. 23 deadline for 13 SEER. Sanyo is already producing a 13-SEER product and has recently coined the term Cooleronâ„¢ for its R-410A refrigerant.
