Reverse-Flow Technology by bkm Enterprises Inc.: Energy Recovery System
The Reverse-Flow® air-to-air energy recovery system is designed to be used for new or retrofit applications. It is built around the individual cassette module and has a modular design. According to the manufacturer, by changing the timing phases on the single two-position damper, the amount of unwanted moisture retention can be controlled, such as in a swimming pool area, or exhausted moisture can be recaptured in the colder months, returning it to the facility. With the damper in a fixed position, the system is in an economizer mode, taking advantage of the ambient outdoor temperature, states the company. The sensible output is designed to be controlled when total energy recovery is not wanted, states the manufacturer.
