The new, patent-pending model of Purge-Guard™ for low-pressure centrifugal chiller purge units works independently of purge units’ purge fault protection. In the event of problems, Purge-Guard prevents accidental pump-out of either liquid or vapor refrigerant, says the company. According to the manufacturer, it is fast and easy to install, works on all brands of thermal purgers, and is custom adaptable to varying chiller conditions.
