QSC To Offer Expanded Web-Based Training

Quality Service Contractors (QSC) and EPL for Residential have formed an alliance to offer a new, expanded Web-based advanced training and education program to QSC members that is an addition to QSC's existing online training.

According to the contractor group, state-of-the-art business, marketing, and operational training will be delivered through the EPL for Residential business Web site, learning library, and live Web casts to members.

"The alliance between QSC and EPL is terrific because we share a common training vision: to make the trade industries better," said Charlie Wallace, QSC executive director.

Wallace noted that the Web-based training will be "available 24/7, 365 days." Also, because it is online, "training costs will be low for p-h-c contractors, removing travel expenses and eliminating time away from the office."

He added that although QSC has offered online "Webinar" seminar programs to members for the past two years, this comprehensive Web-based training will be more extensive, covering a full range of business, operational, managerial, and leadership topics. The training is also supported with an electronic consulting service offered free as part of QSC membership to support implementation of ideas.

Gary Elekes, the owner of EPL for Residential, said the EPL training site is "about helping contractors improve performance and make more money."

QSC is an enhanced service group of the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors-National Association. For more information about QSC, call Charlie Wallace at 800-533-7694, e-mail wallace@naphcc.org, or visit www.qsc-phcc.org.
