These new decorative fan/lights can add dramatic detail and elegance to bathrooms, powder rooms, or any room while incorporating an inconspicuous ventilation fan at the same time. Two power and sound levels are offered, both appropriate for a wide range of bathroom sizes. Four models offer 70 cfm with a sound level of 3.5 sones, while three models feature a more powerful and quiet 80 cfm at 2.5 sones. The fans exhaust air through inconspicuous vent openings in the light fixture's base. The decorative fan/lights are available in five corrosion-resistant finishes, including oil-rubbed bronze, pewter, satin nickel, white, and nutmeg hand-painted cast. Style choices cover a range of tastes from antique to contemporary, giving homeowners several style options.

Broan

Based on the popularity of recessed lights, Broan has developed a new recessed fan-light combination unit. The trim design of the recessed fan light matches that of major recessed light manufacturers in order to blend in seamlessly with a series of recessed lights. The new combination unit is easy to install, especially during new construction, and may be installed during major remodeling. At a noise level of 1.5 sones, which is less than half the noise volume of a traditional house fan, the unit puts out 70 cfm. It is UL-rated for use over the tub or shower when connected to a GFCI-protected branch circuit and used with a PAR30L light bulb. In other locations throughout the home, this unit may also be used with a R30 or BR30 light bulb up to 75 watts.

Daltec

The PFD direct-drive panel fan offers belt-driven performance without the use of belts and pulleys. The key is an adjustable-pitch impeller that can be set to meet exact performance requirements. The highly efficient fan ships standard with a deep drawn venturi. Fan housings are available in a variety of materials including painted steel, aluminum, and stainless steel. Impeller blades are available in cast aluminum or nylon-glass fiber construction. Panels can be custom formed for nonstandard applications. Performance ranges from 300 to 100,000 cfm, which makes the units ideal for use with condenser units, kilns, or other cooling applications. Standard designs enable fast deliveries, while state-of-the-art computer engineering allows for quick and simple customization to all models. A computerized selection program makes choosing the correct fan fast and simple, according to the company.

The patented Axijet High Plume Exhaust System features a backward-inclined centrifugal fan for efficient, stable, quiet operation through a broad range of pressures, in constant or variable volume applications. The unique venturi nozzle entrains ambient air and creates a high discharge velocity, eliminating the need for unsightly stacks. Performance is AMCA certified.
