ThermoTrack™ is a noninvasive HVACR energy flow monitoring system for commercial and industrial buildings. All of its system components clamp to the outside of existing pipe. To install, strap the flow and temperature transducers to the outside of the pipe wall. Several units can be daisy-chained and wired into a single personal computer. The device is paired with multiple output and communications modules such as a 200,000-event data logger, 4-20-mA output, control relay, rate pulse, RS232, and RS485. The RS485 I/O module allows up to 128 transmitters to be placed on a single three-wire cable bus. An integrated optical interface and optional Windows® software utility give the user complete control of system configuration, calibration, and diagnostics, says the company.
