“HVAC/R Electrical Systems Troubleshooting, Part One” and “HVAC/R Electrical Systems Troubleshooting, Part Two” are video segments of the HVAC/R Training Video Series. Part One illustrates how to use a schematic diagram to troubleshoot the electrical circuits and components in a comfort cooling system. This training program covers transformers, thermostats, relays, single-phase motors, contactors, and start and run capacitors. Part Two covers electrical troubleshooting in detail for commercial systems. The topics covered include three-phase motors, low-pressure switches, high-pressure switches, low-ambient controls, starters, and printed circuit boards. For teachers and service personnel who conduct training sessions, an instructor’s guide and a student workbook are available.
