Nov. 6, 2008: Solarhot Announces Upcoming Solar Heating Training Class

CARY, N.C. - SolarHot has announced a new solar heating training class for engineers and installing contractors. The training class will be conducted by Jim McCarthy of NRG Circle of Rhode Island. McCarthy has over 20 years experience in the energy business and has conducted over 800 seminars and training sessions for solar water heating, hydronic heating, and combi-systems. The class will be held on Nov. 18 at SolarHot’s facility in Cary, N.C.

The class will cover solar heating system design and installation. There will be sections covering site selection, design options, trade-offs, equipment options, economics, installation best practices, and more. The course is geared toward engineers, architects, and installing contractors. With the course fee participants will get a copy of Polysun – Light software for designing, simulating, and marketing solar water heating systems.

“Having Jim teach the class with all of his experience in both solar and training will provide a tremendous value to the participants,” said Jeanette Gretsch, SolarHot president.
