Nov. 22, 2006: Cingular Introduces New Field Service Automation Solutions
The suite of three field service automation solutions, developed for Cingular by Corrigo Inc., are designed to match the level of functionality and support a company requires. The Web-based applications are available directly from and billed by Cingular Wireless. They can be deployed via a wireless download to Cingular-powered devices that use such platforms as BlackBerry, Pocket PC, and Java.
"Cingular's new field service automation solutions provide businesses of all sizes with a cost-effective and compelling, ready-to-use suite of applications they can deploy quickly and easily for a fast return on their investment," said Jeff Bradley, vice president, business data services, Cingular Wireless. "These complement our comprehensive portfolio of offerings to companies with operations in the field - including push-to-talk, a broad selection of wireless e-mail platforms, location-based services, and other vertical solutions - to help them reduce costs while improving the productivity of their employees and enhancing customer satisfaction."
