The Quest Estimator™ 7.6 is the latest release of this takeoff and estimating software. The system keeps track of all quantities and cost item specifications, providing a convenient audit trail for each job. It provides a centralized storage location for historical pricing on each cost item. The software includes 3-D Visual Assemblies, which are computer takeoff images that enable an estimator to zoom, rotate, see inside, and separate the components of any structure. These help verify that all components of a structure are in place. Users can create estimate templates within the program containing items they regularly use. The software is integrated with Proposal Writer to help contractors accumulate estimate details and create proposals in the format that their customers want to see. The integration between the software and American Contractor, the company’s construction business management solution, streamlines the process from estimate to billing and gives business owners greater visibility into the bid accuracy, win percentage, and profitability for each job.
