  • Lennox International Inc. (Dallas, TX) has appointed Dennis Smith to president of its Service Experts Inc. subsidiary. Smith replaces Jim Mishler.
  • Robert Grussing has been named president of Weil-McLain (Michigan City, IN), succeeding Tom May, who recently announced his retirement from the company after 20 years of service.
  • Scroll Technologies (Little Rock, AR) received the “Governor’s Quality Award” at the seventh annual Arkansas Quality Award Celebration. The honor is awarded to an Arkansas organization that has demonstrated achievements in implementation of quality principles and practices.
  • Johnson Controls, Inc. (Milwaukee, WI), has been awarded a three-year contract to provide integrated facility management services to Agilent Technologies, Inc., at three campuses in Colorado. Under the agreement, Johnson Controls will provide facility support services, computerized maintenance management system service, and cleanroom maintenance management.
  • Friedrich Air Conditioning Co. (San Antonio, TX) has converted to powder coating from spray painting as the finishing step in its multiphase paint system. According to the company, this will offer a more durable and environmentally friendly product.
