  • Goodman Manufacturing Co., L.P. (Houston, TX) announces that it has purchased the principal assets of the Hammond Distributing Co., a division of Hammond Sheet Metal Co. of St. Louis, MO. The business will operate in Missouri, Arkansas, and Illinois as Goodman Midwest, a newly formed subsidiary that will function as a separate distributor.

  • Ebtron, Inc. (Loris, SC) announces that its products have been selected for control of building pressure and ventilation rates for the renovation of “Wedge 1” at the Pentagon in Washington, DC. The remaining four sections or wedges will be done similarly. The entire renovation project is expected to take 12 years to complete at a cost of $1.1 billion. H&B Products (Springfield, VA), the Ebtron representative for the area, supplied the equipment for this project to Johnson Controls.
  • CMP Corp. has moved into a new facility in Oklahoma City, OK. The new plant covers 120,000 sq ft, with additional site preparation to facilitate further expansion in the near future.
