Lennox Plant Aims To Please Customers

Lennox has opened a 329,000-sq-ft production facility in Orangeburg, SC. Allied Air Enterprises is billed as a “lean” manufacturing facility that focuses on “satisfying customer needs by eliminating waste through continuous improvement,” according to Bob Schjerven, Lennox ceo. Further, he said the plant “has the capability and flexibility to support all of our needs across all the product lines, all brands, and all companies that encompass Lennox International.” The Allied plant employs about 130 people, and makes residential heating and air conditioning products.
