La-Co Industries, Inc./Markal Co.: HEAT BARRIER SPRAY

The water-based, non-staining Cool-Gel™ heat barrier spray helps plumbing and hvac contractors minimize the risk of accidental fires and prevents potential heat damage to property and fittings, says the company. More effective than keeping a bucket of water handy or wrapping studs in wet rags, Cool-Gel absorbs heat before it reaches flammable or heat-sensitive surfaces, leaving no residue or required clean-up, says the manufacturer. The product is available in 32-oz spray bottles, in quantities of 12 to a case.

La-Co Industries, Inc./Markal Co., 1201 Pratt Blvd., Elk Grove Village, IL 60007-5746; 847-956-7600; 847-956-9885 (fax); www.laco.com (website).
