Duct Board-M™ is a resin-bonded fiberglass board with a fire-resistant, foil-scrim-kraft vapor retarder. The company says Duct Board-M offers a tough, durable mat facing that is resistant to moisture, dirt, and abuse, while providing excellent thermal and acoustical insulating properties. Available in 1-in., 11/2-in., and 2-in. thicknesses (2.5, 3.8, and 5 cm), the duct board is suitable for applications with velocities up to 5,000 fpm (1,524 mpm), 2-in.-wg static pressure (498 Pascals), and operating temperatures up to 250¿F (121¿C), according to the manufacturer.
