Joint Venture To Develop Wind Power

US WindForce (Wexford, PA) and Padoma Wind Power (La Jolla, CA) have announced the formation of a joint venture for the purpose of developing, constructing, financing, and selling as much as 1,500 MW of wind energy projects, involving 10 or more project locations, over the next five years in the Mid-Atlantic area.

The projects will be located on sites in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia. It is expected that as many as 340 of the 1,500 MW could be operational by the end of 2003.
