The redesigned Latitude™ GY9F high-efficiency gas furnace has a 95 AFUE rating. It is Energy Star-qualified and is eligible for a federal tax credit. The newly designed heat exchanger simplifies the gas flow path and reduces parts. The control box now resides in the front of the furnace to provide quick access for low-voltage wiring. An updated control board features a tricolored LED, and a nonvolatile memory feature retains the last five error flash codes, even if a power failure occurs. A low-flame sense indicator provides an early warning of a flame sense problem, and a flame current test pad allows technicians to check the flame sense current without disconnecting any wiring. An error code pushbutton allows retrieval of error codes.
