The Coleman® LX Series of multiposition gas furnaces have AFUE ratings as high as 96 percent; 80 percent models are also available. The series includes single-stage models that feature a five-speed, X13-style direct-drive, high-efficiency DC motor that increases SEER ratings in the cooling mode. Two-stage models feature a variable-speed electronically commutated motor that circulates air for longer periods of time, equating to consistent temperatures and improved air filtering. Variable-speed models also include ClimaTrak technology, which provides customizable airflow based on the region in which the homeowners live. Features include induced combustion, hot-surface ignition, high heat transfer aluminized tubular heat exchanger, and 33-inch height. According to the manufacturer, IAQ is ensured thanks to external air filters and a timed-on, adjustable-off blower on select models delivers maximum comfort.
