VB-8000 Series globe valves use a patented design for the plug and seat, which eliminates unbalanced pressure forces on the plug. The company says these valves achieve high performance through their design, requiring less powerful actuation. The valves are available in 5- and 6-inch sizes and two-way and three-way models with a line of pneumatic and electric actuators. Higher close-off values (up to 125 psi) allow for smaller actuators and, in many cases, eliminate extra linkages, multiple actuators, bypass valves, and other parts, states the manufacturer.
