Indiana Contractor Succeeds Via Aire Serv Affiliation

MOORESVILLE, IN — Randy and Bonnie Smith credit Aire Serv for helping to hone their business and managerial skills, thanks to their purchase of an Aire Serv Heating and Air Conditioning franchise in May 2000.

The Smiths, who have been in the plumbing and hvac industry for 30 years, became owners of Hession Plumbing Co. four years ago and felt they needed more help in running a business — and Aire Serv provided that.

“We were spending an awful lot of time reinventing the wheel,” Randy Smith said. “We were never doing the same job twice the same way.”

Smith saw an ad for Aire Serv and the rest was history. Although he admitted that he and his wife knew little about franchising, they were willing to join a national franchise company that they believed would help them raise their business to another level.
