Home-Tech Donates to Charities of the Month

FORT MYERS, Fla. - Home-Tech, a Southwest Florida air conditioning and appliance service and sales company, has successfully continued to operate its Charity of the Month program. Each month, Home-Tech donates a portion of the price of each new air conditioning unit sold to a different charity. Donations are made in customers’ names to thank them for their business, instead of sending corporate gifts.

As part of the program, Home-Tech recently donated to the following charities of the month: Eden Autism Services Florida (January), the American Red Cross recovery efforts in Haiti (February), the Ronald McDonald Storybook Ball (March), the American Heart Association’s National Start! Walking Day (April), and the CROW Animal Refuge Center (May).

Since launching the program in August 2009, Home-Tech and its customers have given approximately $8,000 to charities.
