HARDI Launches Online Training System

COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Heating, Airconditioning, and Refrigeration Distributors International (HARDI) launched the Distribution Learning Network (DLN), a powerful and comprehensive online learning system. The DLN provides a learning management system capable of tracking individual performance and company-wide training, and an entire library of online education courses.

According to HARDI, the benefits of DLN to a company are a lower total cost of training, measurable returns on training investment, greater employee retention with promotion potential, and increased workforce productivity and satisfaction. For individuals, the key benefit is that training is available at their pace and convenience. The online courses are accessible 24/7.

The online library of courses is categorized both by job functions in a distributorship as well as under the general industry headings. Courses are also listed alphabetically. The course library is composed of already established training materials from Refrigeration Service Engineers Society, American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers, and other North American Technician Excellence-recognized courses. Additionally, the DLN offers a host of business and management training programs.

Costs to a HARDI member firm are a one-time, initial set-up fee of $350 and then the purchase price of individual courses.
